Do you want to gain experience in ocean sailing, acquire navigation skills, learn route planning on long passages?
Join us on an ocean cruise with a training and apprenticeship profile on our Oceanis 45 “Dark Horse”.
We take off from Ponta Delgada on São Miguel in the Azores, heading for the southern coast of Portugal and Spain. We have 1,200 nautical miles to cover, during which our skippers will be more than happy to share their knowledge on route planning, safety, operating electronic equipment on the yacht or sail trimming.
After flying across the ocean for a few days, we plan to stop in some of the ports in the legendary Algarve, where we will be able to see some of the most charming corners of Europe before the main tourist season. As a rest after the demanding Atlantic stretch, we will anchor in picturesque bays of southern Portugal and Spain. Along with good weather, we head toward the Strait of Gibraltar, where we will stop at La Linea de Concepción marina, well known to sailors. After crossing the Strait, we head to our destination in hot Andalusia, Malaga.
The cruise is under the guidance of two experienced skippers, who will take care of the safety and comfort of the crew, as well as willing to share their extensive knowledge and advice on sailing and sailing-related topics:)
OUR YACHT
The Beneteau Oceanis 45 “Dark Horse” yacht is a perfectly equipped home on the water. The best possible combination of sailing qualities, comfort, space and among modern yachts in its class.
The yacht consists of four comfortable double cabins, two bathrooms with electric toilets and a hot shower. A spacious saloon with a well-equipped kitchen allows us to live very comfortably during extended ocean sailing.
On our cruises, no one sleeps in the mess, which provides great comfort while sailing. The yacht is equipped with a desalinator and solar panels, which allows us to be completely independent for long periods of time, both when sailing on the ocean and when freely anchoring in bays.
The yacht is fully equipped for safe ocean sailing, including a satellite communicator. WE HAVE STARLINK ON BOARD! This guarantees constant access to the Internet during the ocean sections!

The cruise will be led by two experienced skippers – yacht captains, RYA Yachtmaster Offshore.
